The Todlem Fiore is a blush pink occasion dress for girls. A sleeveless satin jacquard A-line is worn under a sheer organza cape, with pearl flowers beaded by hand across the shoulders. Fiore means flower in Italian, for the ones scattered across the cape, and the cherry blossom woven into the cloth beneath.
The cape falls softly over the shoulders and is finished at every edge with a scalloped hem and fine picot trim. Across the neckline and shoulders, small flowers in shell-pink petals with pearl centers are placed by hand, densest at the neck and thinning as they fall, so the beading fades into the cloth rather than stopping at a line. The same scatter continues across the back shoulders.
Beneath the cape, the dress is cut in blush satin jacquard. The cherry-blossom floral is woven into the cloth rather than printed on it, which is what gives the pink its depth as it catches the light. The A-line is easy and unfitted, so the satin falls naturally and the cape moves as she walks. It fastens with a concealed zip at the back.
Soft and formal at once, it serves as a flower girl dress, a christening dress and a party dress, made for weddings, nikkah and walima celebrations, Eid, birthdays and family portraits. In Pakistan it carries the wedding season; in Dubai it suits formal events year-round.
